Before installing this version;
1- If installed, uninstall the previous version.
2- After uninstalling, restart your system or explorer.exe by ending all its working instances.
3- Install the new version and continue using it.

 

* If you install above the previous version without applying these procedures above, it is likely that explorer.exe will restart constantly and therefore it can be annoying.

Is there a way to keep user settings before uninstalling the old version?

Unckeck 'Delete settings and license information' before uninstallation.

Is anybody experiencing a problem when renaming files or folders in Windows Explorer? Before this update, when renaming I used to see a black box around the name of the file or folder - now I see a white box.  I did try uninstalling StartIsBack and the black box returned, but the fault returned when SIB was reinstalled.  I have also tried clearing all my settings, but nothing changes.

same problem in StartIsBack++ 2.9.10 & StartIsBack++ 2.9.11 versions of program.
