sanjoa
Hi, guys! I'm going to install Adobe Photoshop CS4 at my PC to do some work with pics and this like this. I'd like to know what would you reccomend me about hardware requirements to make the program work fine. My mother is an ECS 6100 SM, 2 GB RAM, AMD II 250 dual core 3000+, Win7 x64, GPU GeForce 6100 (planning to buy a GForce 7200 that a friend's is selling). Administrator DKT27 Posted February 22, 2010 Administrator Share Posted February 22, 2010 You'll be just fine. ;)Although it's recommended to have a better computer and graphics card, but I run Adobe Photoshop CS4 on my XP, P4 2.66GHz, 1GB RAM, ATI 9000 Mobility graphics card with no problems. :)I don't have any idea about nvidia cards but you need a good card to have 3D features enabled.
0veR
You should install 32 bit OS. If you have 4 GB or more ram then you need x64 OS. :D
LeetPirate
GPU-accelerated features require graphics support for Shader Model 3.0 and OpenGL 2.0 so get a video card with those if you want to take advantage of GPU processing power.
Bizarre™
It's best to get a 64-bit OS. Windows 7 is a 32 / 64-bit hybrid, so no worries there ^_^BTW, you should install Windows XP Mode if you decide to go 7.
