Also I translated the German box that opens at first and it says they pass IP's and details to third parties, but you can at any time opt out....no thanks, no way Jose. Could you or anyone else please tell me where the option to opt out is? I installed Hideaway VPN yesterday and didn't really find any options. Maybe this is the case because I started the trial version without entering a serial number? I really liked the speed and was impressed how fast it connected. funkyy Posted April 3, 2021 Share Posted April 3, 2021 Threepwood, if I remember correctly it was when I went to the manufacturers site and clicked to download it and a box opened that mentioned that they passed on IP's etc, so I immediately left the page and deleted the download. But it definitely said you could opt out. I'm waiting for HotSpot Shield VPN to be posted again. I used it for many months and found it very good. It was in the early hours of the morning so I went to bed not knowing if the screenshot link made it to my post. I kept thinking about the message and I started to doubt myself that it referred to the VPN, but it was too late to do anything. Another Funkyy blunder!! Nothing is perfectly perfect in this world, but I am compelled to give this app a thumb UP. I am currently running it on 3 win10 PCs, so far so good, and as a matter of fact, it is THE faster and quicker loading VPN I have encountered so far(many years in digital life). I used the app with html5 chat sites .. when connected to the app very fast connection never seen vpn app connect fast as this app .. this is the excellent part of it. We come now to the poor part .. when connecting to any server and try to enter chat most of the servers provided are blocked to access chat site .. I am assumed that these provided servers are totally new and not known to sites .. but they are not. Very few servers maybe 3 out of all servers connected to chat .. and while connecting takes too much time to connect to chat comparing to opnvpn servers too much different in connecting to chat site opnvpn servers are much more faster.
