Any way to hide a particular forum section from your activity stream view?

I like to use the "Showing all content I have not read and posted since my last visit" feature to catch up on topics, but there's one specific section which receives a lot of posts that don't interest me. Without those, the view would be about half as long. Is there a way to hide that from the view?
