Administrator Lite Posted June 17, 2006 Administrator Share Posted June 17, 2006 Don't think that will work nsane....You need to check your "Pending file rename operations" registry key.Start > Run > Regedit.Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\FileRenameOperationsExport that branch and attach it here....Edit: May be silly... but did you actually restart your computer? :frusty:
RoDrAs
nsane's solution didn't work.Of course I restarted my computer... lol. Here it is:FileRenameOperations
Administrator Lite Posted June 17, 2006 Administrator Share Posted June 17, 2006 Does the installer for the old version still work fine ;)The problem will be something that should have been removed hasn't been. Of course, its hard for me to diagnose what exactly the cause is not having the problem myself.Best bet would be to post at the alchohol forums.... RoDrAs
;) lol. I don't know what I was thinking of when I said the installer worked fine. It doesn't.The Alcohol forums didn't help, because for seeing the topics you must register, and when I try to do it it says "The administrator isn't accepting new registrations at the moment."
Administrator Lite Posted June 17, 2006 Administrator Share Posted June 17, 2006 They only provide support for registered users, not trial users, which is a shame.
