lambfivz
I know it is easy to get it done on Mac with the macOS installer app from Mac App Store. How to make a bootable macOS USB drive on a Windows machine? I am planning to make a fresh of Big Sur on my broken Mac.
Rampint
To make a bootable MacOS USB on Windows pc,you need to download the DMG disk image file of the macOS version, It is best to download from https://support.apple.com/en_US/downloads/macos For more detailed steps, please refer to this. https://www.uubyte.com/create-macos-bootable-usb-from-windows-10.html
coco_jambo
I have never used it myself but TransMac seems to be able to do exactly what you are trying to accomplish. It is paid software in general but has a 15 day Trial, so you should be able to create a bootable usb See: https://www.acutesystems.com/scrtm.htm
lambfivz
Update: TransMac says 'can not restore to Mac volume' when I am using the trial version. UUByte DMG Editor worked!
