Codec is short for Compressor-Decompressor. Codecs are needed for encoding and decoding (playing) audio and video. The K-Lite Codec Pack is designed as a user-friendly solution for playing all your movie files. With the K-Lite Codec Pack you should be able to play all the popular movie formats and even some rare formats. K-Lite Mega Codec Pack combines the contents of two packs: K-Lite Codec Pack Full and Real Alternative.Download

HX1
Now I can't remember which I had installed, the Mega or the Full???NVM, thanks for the update.I always do the full version.. mega ALWAYS causes some issue between my computer and the Security Center.. I have one question, I use this on a Windows 7 system as well... Should I be using one the packages that state its specifically for Windows 7? I never have any issues but they always happen when you least them too, so just wondering..
