harpua
The previous update caused my W7 machine to really slow down. This latest update appears to have fixed the problem, thankfully. I had been going crazy trying to figure out what had screwed up my machine. But now back to normal.
Administrator DKT27 Posted February 1, 2010 Administrator Share Posted February 1, 2010 Don't worry. Comodo guys are just testing, (us and the software on us).

chlorophyll
comodo really that much good??i never tried it.coz i have insecure feeling of trying new ones in case of antivirus or internet securities.satisfied with kis2010.
*dcs18
I believe KIS 2010 is the best Suite. COMODO CIS (IMO without antivirus installed is in my top 3.)
Administrator DKT27 Posted February 2, 2010 Administrator Share Posted February 2, 2010 Try it. See this page. It's in one of the top firewalls out there. My favorite. Just don't forget to disable KIS firewall or use KAV if you try it. ;)While installing, uncheck the AV's installation. Just install the firewall. harpua
I really like the Comodo firewall which is all that I use from the app. They were one of, if not, the first 3rd party firewalls to support x64 OS. The firewall has just continued to improve over the years, imo. I so used to working with it at this point that I have no desire to try anything else. *dcs18
Yup, the fact that COMODO continues to be a freeware is a praiseworthy point in itself to the common man. (not that it matters from the :pirate: point of view.)
Administrator DKT27 Posted February 2, 2010 Administrator Share Posted February 2, 2010 You all are right. :tooth:Yes as long as I know, Comodo was one of the first firewalls supporting x64 OS. And is a freeware. :win:

*dcs18
Hey Ravi,We're all learning (faster from each other,) ;)Suggest you to make a choice between COMODO and Online Armor Premium (shareware not the free version.) If you opt for Online Armor Premium, just PM me. If it's COMODO then you'd like to have a word with Bizarre™, he's the best authority to guide you (I used to follow him on the COMODO forums.) You can look certainly forward to assistance from every one of us. B)I'm on Online Armor, for the moment (keep changing for the sake of knowledge.) :Pedit:KAV + COMODO CIS looks fine. You need to say 'no' to the anti-virus component preferably during the time of the installation of COMODO CIS
