Firefox 3.6 opens new tab next to active one

Have you noticed that in Firefox v3.6 that when you open a new link, the tab opens next to the active tab rather then at the end like your probably used to.

You might prefer it like this but I prefer it the way I have been accustomed to.

If you find this annoying like I do, here is how you can change it:

Type about:config in the address bar and press enter

A warning message will pop up, click I'll be careful, I promise!

In the "Filter" box, type in browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent

Double click on "true" to change value to "false"

Done - close tab

Have been using Tab Mix Plus with Firefox and therefore wasn't able to spot this behavior. Thanks for the about:config entry.

Try Opera 10.51!

How does 'Opera 10.51' prevent 'Firefox 3.6' from opening a new tab next to active one?
