If after installation there's error in "About" - check anti-virus, HIPS, DEP, UAC, lack of rights and other things, that might prevent the package from working in normal mode.

Changes in version 1.1:

- Firewall checking is now for informational purposes only, and not to block the installation as it was before

Thanks for the links.A few noob questions.There isn't much of a difference bween the first one and this,right?(ur first link on on MF and this one on MU).The first one works fine for me on XPSP3.Was just wondering!!!!

Btw,What is this about disabling the firewall?

The first one worked for me too. The updated version had to do with people having troubles utilizing the first version. The disabling of firewall had to do with the massive protection the author of the software have embedded. But again if it works for you in the first place - don't bother.

Instruction for valid setup Total Uninstall 5.5.0.622 Professional Edition (27.01.2010):

1) Setup Total Uninstall with working network and NO block it with firewall or hosts.

2) Start program and allow to check internet.

3) In settings change autoupdate to manual.

4) Close program and restart PC in safe mode (F8).

5) In safe mode start program and enter valid serial number (If pop up window for connections - press cancel)

6) Yet one in settings change autoupdate to manual and restart normally PC.
