I actually prefer Total Uninstall than Your Uninstaller.....but till now there is no working patch for the latest version.:frusty:

The older version 5.2 does not work quite well in Windows 7.

Thanks for the update.

Block internet access for Tu.exe on Windows Firewall and apply the following serial:

Site: http://paste2.org
Code: /p/637092

Works like a charm.

Credits to KuMaSat.

Enjoy :)

jalaffa Edit: Posting of serials is not allowed. Read forum rules.

Edit: is there an allowed way to post serials? I mean, by links or some other method?

jalaffa Edit: Thanks for asking :) I showed how.

@KotaXor: There are working serials for v5.4.2 Pro.

I'm gonna try serial above for 5.5 (but i want Pro).

Edit: v5.5.0+serial from above ---> "Registration failed. A firewall prevents TU to validate online your license."

---> Crack needed, if they do online validation.

Edit2: v5.4.2+serial from above (and another called Sarah Snell") ---> "Thanks your for registering TU"

---> But Licensed to "Error #3009001#" in lower-right corner), so they also might be trying to do online validation.

Anyway, this method gives you a working program, not as v5.5 online check.

Edit3 (grrrrr): v5.4.2 only works with "Sarah Snell" and "Javier..." serials. KumatSat serial appeared to work, but when i tried to re-open TU, it closes itselft inmediately.

Someone in Softlexia points that KuMaSat serial works flawlessly on his Win7, but gives that error i posted in his WinXP.

Strange behaviour then (and maybe this won't get corrected in WinXP if it's working on Win7).

1. Add this line to your host file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts)

127.0.0.1 www.martau.com and to make sure you uncheck updates and block with your firewall the more protection the better..

2. install Total Uninstall Professional v5.0.1 put the key in then install v5.5.0

v5.4.2 Pro + "Sarah Snell" or "Javier..." serials gives you a "Thanks for registering TU" message.

After that, a Licesend to "#Error blablabla" appears on lower-right corner, but everything works fine.

Previously you have to block TU.exe or martau.com, you choose what to do. But i have 5.4.2 working here.

Edit: And 5.5 is not working here cough crack cough needed cough

Ru-board seem to have come up with a working solution for Total Uninstall 5.5.0 (all previous solutions have failed)

It's a preregged (KuMaSat) installer with some modding included. Tested successfully here on 3 setups

* autoregistration (с)troya

* anti-check hosts ©xMesSir

* anti-check updates (с)troya

* anti-check firewalls ©xMesSir

* anti-check *.tmp (с)troya

I've seen there's also the old solution of installing v5.0.1, registering with certain serial (KuMaSat also?) and then installing v5.5 above old version.

But it's better this one...

Anyway, i'd prefer a crack instead of a cracked or a pre-cracked... but thanks ;)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Did you disabled the firewall during installation? If yes, was it in Win-boot safe mode ?

- Found a way : Uninstall Antivirus ESS 4.0.474, install Total Uninstall 5.5.0, Install ESS again.

Anyway, not interested on these uninstallers Total, Smarty, Revo, Your Uninstaller , etc.

No...did not disable my Windows firewall, did not boot into safe mode, did not disable AV.

Did not add anything into host file.

Just installed as per normal.

Gonna to monitor it for a few days to see how it goes!

Uh-oh, that's pity. Blocking Tu.exe with firewall has always been working for me right from the time I was using XP-3 with Online armor Premium.

However, this was tested on the previous version which I have, Total Uninstall Pro 5.4.2. Shall download install the latest version and then report back.

@demoneye :

The problem happens with WinXP.

Mine is also WinXP Pro SP3, didn`t try other methods, but this one works for sure :

Uninstall y / Av and Firewall, install Total Uninstall 5.5.0 ( RU board posted above by Jalaffa ---» Post 12 and 13 ) and install again AV and Firewall.

It works, I have done it right now ! Trust me !

-------------------------------

For Win7, Kotaxor said no problem found - Install and use.

Cheers

Just installed the pre-activated flavor of 5.5.0 (RuBoard) without uninstalling either my anti-virus or firewall. Did not even block Tu.exe with my Online armor Premium. However, had blocked the app. from phoning home by adding 127.0.0.1 www.martau.com to my hosts file. Version 5.5.0 Pro was installed by over-writing 5.4.2 Pro.

Right at the beginning of the installation 5.5.0 scans the hosts file and I permitted it to make changes. Post-installation, checked with and without the internet connection and this app. stays fixed. Opened the hosts file to find out what changes were made and was pleasantly surprised to find that the entry 127.0.0.1 www.martau.com was actually deleted.
