Comodo is the biggest shit out there!

I tested their Internet Security Product, it gave me bluescreens!

While installing other applications it made the installations fail and i had to restore my system!

I would use Online Armor instead of Comodo IS!

And today i tested the System Cleaner from Comodo... I thought nothing could happen coz of the backup function!

But i was wrong, after registry cleaning i rebootet and everything began to hang after a while, i couldnt even start comodo system cleaner because explorer dissapeared and everything was gone after i start comodo SC.

I had to restore my system back and after that Norton Internet Security stopped working so i had to use removal tool blablaablaaa and reinstall...

Use CCleaner instead of that crap! Its really not worth all that problems it brings if you have not fresh installed system!

I have no problems with Comodo system cleaner since I have been using it for about three mths....I have Windows XP SP3. So far it has been working fine thats all I O can say. Tim

I do agree that COMODO products do require a little more experience than the usual tool for tech-savvy users... Their firewall is great though.

CSC is great as well, but it's not what some would call a 'safe bet' :P

One of the most dangerous software I've used. What seems safe to you in utilities like this, it's extremely dangerous in this one. Use this and I wont guarantee you that after restart of the PC, you will be able to see it alive.

But this made for high-end users only. Someone not like me or shought or Biz nor heath28m. Someone like Leet can only handle and use this software without any problems.

It's similar with Comodo's Scanner.

But hey it's Firewall is on the top in the moustec results. Works here with no problems at all. :)

Only one release had a BSOD problem but was fixed in a day or so.

I don`t know this software, never tried and it will be no problem for me even being dangerous. I am curious about it and going to try now just to see the results and will give news here when done.

Comodo System Cleaner could indeed prove disastrous if used by novice users.

Its most problematic option is Use REGISTRY PROTECTION... it f*cks the system up!

The next thing you see when you boot up...

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\system

My system didn't start. Then it did later. I didn't use registry protection. ;)

But even not using it was enough damage to the system. :)

I tried everything (except "Duplicate files") only with default checked items and it`s working without problems --» "Safe Delection"

Note :-Probably problems will occur if changing the default settings (?).

WinXP Pro SP3 & now better cleaned !

I only also had the defaults checks as well. I set the restore settings in case there was a problem and I still have not had any. Everything is working fine... I didn't check the system setting Have been very careful. Peace

I hate this software. I used to really like it but once they came out with that fugly look that scamware has, I knew things were going downhill. For one - it always crashed while doing an update for a really long time. Mysteriously it went away but the fact that it looked for updates on it's own anyways and popped up with no user intervention to only crash was very annoying. The registry scanner seemed fine but what wasn't is that it ALWAYS reset some of my Winamp settings... and I have never had another scanner fool around with that. Plus it has that annoying CSC scan for duplicates and something else in the context menu, one more thing I don't need that comodo won't provide and option to turn off from within the program. So, to the trash it goes!
