Betts1964
Is there a simple way to move already installed apps from my c drive after I create a D drive without harming any programs?
jbleck
No. Some apps will function if u move them. You will mess up stuff though: dependencies, registry, "Uninstall" list, shortcuts, etc. There are apps that you can and the ones you can't do easy. Arachnoid
There will be too many registry entries pointing to the present location. You could however depending on the programs, use portable versions which do not need installing.
UberGeek
Not all program installations can be moved on Windows (and Android) and there's a technically valid reason for that. Moreover, moving installations from an SSD to a HDD might also cause loss in responsiveness.
