The 401 Unauthorized error is an HTTP status code that means the page you were trying to access cannot be loaded until you first log in with a valid user ID and password.

If you've just logged in and received the 401 Unauthorized error, it means that the credentials you entered were invalid for some reason.

401 Unauthorized error messages are often customized by each website, especially very large ones, so keep in mind that this error may present itself in more ways than these common ones:

> 401 Unauthorized
> Authorization Required
> HTTP Error 401 - Unauthorized

Double-check that your credentials are correct :dunno:

I received the error 401 before the load of the page

Neither familiar with Tor browser nor with this error message (first time to see it). Did you check the link above for some fixes? Are there any traces in your cache of prior (failed) logins?

Yep I did clear the Tor browser cache and the error message is still appearing.

I tried Onion Over VPN in VpnNord and I accessed successfully !

Short answer is no. Long answer depends on your definition of "anonymous". What do you mean by "anonymous" exactly?

If you are using Microsoft Windoww especially Windows 10, you can never be anonymous because Windows 10 collects tons of info from its users and send it back to Redmond.

VPNs are not designed to confer anonymity on users.

Out of curiosity, what VPN software do you use? What is your operating system?
