chlorophyll
Probably every Windows user is familiar with the Snipping Tool present in the Windows 7 and Vista. Although most users know how to take a snapshot using the Snipping tool, many of them don’t know how to take a snapshot of the Start menu or a context menu using the same tool. Have your ever tried to take the snapshot of the desktop context menu (right-click menu)? Chances are that you were not successful in doing so. Because, by default, you can’t take the snapshot of a context menu or the Start menu using the Windows Snipping Tool. Here is how to take snapshot of a context menu or the Start menu in Windows 7: 1. Launch the Snipping Tool. 2. Press Esc button to minimize it. 3. Now, open Start menu or a context menu that you want to take the snapshot. 4. Press Ctrl + Print Screen keys to take the snapshot of the opened Start menu or context menu. 5. Save the snapshot and you are Done! source : intowindows.com

Bizarre™
I use Adobe Photoshop CS4 ^_^
Administrator DKT27 Posted January 18, 2010 Administrator Share Posted January 18, 2010 Yea even I use that but it takes time to start that's why for pasting screenshots, it's paint.net. But as we all know paint.net cannot offer images as good as what Adobe Photoshop CS4 does. :)

Night Owl
anybody tried SNAG IT screen shot application.i think its top rated?Yes, I use Snagit v9.1.3. It is really good and powerful. It's a bit slow on old PCs (like my 7-year-old Windows XP PC :( ), but it's very fast on my one-year-old Windows 7 PC :)The bad news is that Snagit does not work properly with Firefox 3.6 RC1 or RC2. Snagit works fine with Firefox 3.5.7 though.

HX1
Fast Stone, WinSnap, 'Print Screen' + Some program to paste to, are the only things I use... I have used Corel DRAW X4's Capture in the past... Mainly, especially posting them online, I look for good optimization and the best quality for the smallest size.. I have seen programs slide back and forth in this area... I use WinSnap Portable for the USB.. FastStone has mainly been what I use on my main system. I like the shadows, blurring, rotation, reflection, and some of the extended features that the programs allow you to work with... The two have similar features and is one of the reason I use them.. Night Owl
@CometBird: Why not use FastStone Capture 6.5? Heath28m talked about it the other day when I found out that Snagit 9.1.3 would no longer take scrolling Web pages with Firefox 3.6 RC1.FastSone Capture 6.5 can be found here: nsane.forums FastStone Capture 6.5(I used Kg ViRiLiTY.rar.)
