I wonder what does the change log says.

I didn't get the Firefox updated site after the installation. Nor do I see any difference in it.

No problem when you have detective Night Owl working on the case!!

Yes, I saw it. After all, I had to delete it when I quoted your post. :smartass:

The site will go official tomorrow, like I mentioned. That's why you won't get the Firefox update site today.

The RC2 change log I posted above is virtually identical to the RC1 change log. So RC2 must be just a bunch of bug fixes. The two differences according to WinDiff are highlighted in red:

@troi4o: I read that the final version of Firefox 3.6 should be out by the end of this month.

@DKT27: I don't understand your question, I guess. The file, "Firefox Setup 3.6 RC 2.exe", is a complete (update) installer. I saw that it updated my firefox.exe and other files to be dated this Friday at 10:09 PM. The firefox.exe file has a digital signature of Friday, January 15, 2010 10:09:32 PM. Once the update installer finished, it just disappeared. When I started Firefox 3.6 RC2, it just took me to my home page as expected.

If we had waited until tomorrow, the auto-update of Firefox 3.6 RC 2 would have taken us to the "What's New" page. But we both didn't auto-update Firefox 3.6 RC1 to RC2.

My dear Watson, if you're asking me how I found the Release Candidate 2 website, I simply changed

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.6rc1/releasenotes/ to
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.6rc2/releasenotes/

It's elementary, my dear Watson!!

Signed,

Sherlock Holmes.

Of course I aways go with the good side of the force. BTW few days ago I saw Star Wars 4 and 5. The last one left to see. I'd never seen the old Star Wars till now. I saw all three new ones when I was a child. I cried in the revenge of the sith. :( . But hey EP6 is the last one and I'm gonna download and see the last movie I was watin from years to see. :D

CometBird. Hmm.
