Marik
Well I'm waiting on my garenahack update...so why not put the waiting time to use eh?Lately, I've been having some troubles with some services...particularly the scvhost one'sThing is, I've been minding my own business, playing dota and footmen frenzy, when all of a sudden my pc starts to move really slowly....I alt tab to see wtf is going on, only to see that a svchost is consuming 80% of the CPU...I was like :wtf:Had to do something about it...so I installed Process Lasso and saw that the main culprit was svchost.exe network service....This was mainly caused by DNS (seriously...you don't need it)....disabled that, rebooted and presto...no more in-game lagNow if you want to disable even more services from these awful svchosts, here is what you need.1. Process Lasso, which you can get from → here ←2. Microsoft Process Explorer, which you can get from → here ←Now if you want to remove more services, start up Process Explorer, right-click the respective process and click on properties, then click on the services tab.Now you have all the listed services that svchost uses....Next you just need to click Start → Run → services.msc to display the list of the services...(for some services that are not displayed there, use The Ultimate Troubleshooter's services tab)Now using Black Viper's site to get the desired information on the services, you can go ahead and disable the ones you think you don't need.Just make sure you don't blow up your PC in the process
