vitorio
My paid ISP velocity is 10Mbps. When run WIFISweetSpots it shows 92.1 Mbps. Is there other explanation that this measure is wrong? Please let me know. Thanks. Edited June 21, 2020 by vitorio
Threepwood
@vitorio Wi-Fi SweetSpots shows the connection speed of your smartphone to your router. This speed is independent of the speed of the internet connection. I also used a tool like this to optimize my laptop's WiFi connection speed. Moving a laptop or a smartphone a few centimeters to the left or to the right (or in other directions) can make a huge difference in connection speed. There are corners in the apartment where the WLAN is simply bad. Sometimes the reason is easy to find - for example pipes in the wall or a large heating system. But sometimes moving the router will give you a better signal. With the Wi-Fi SweetSpots app, WLAN operators can check the network coverage in their home to determine the perfect location for wirelessly connected devices. With the app launched, you walk through the apartment. The app then shows the signal strength and possible data rate in real time. Krinal
Is your Speed 10 MB/s or 10Mb/s? MB = Mega bytes Mb = Mega bits

Krinal
If it is 10Mbps then actual speed is 1.25 MBps. So this is not a case. I guess the answer of Threepwood will be the right. vitorio
