@flash13 Do you use MM on your phone?

EDIT: I am copying my music from my PC to a 256 GB Micro SD Card on my phone. Roughly 110GB time estimate is > 3 hours via a USB 3.1 port on my PC. I read that MM Gold allows for wireless synchronization. Would be faster than a USB connection?

Wow I don't think I could listen to that music in the rest of my lifetime.

If you haven't tested wireless , I would just let it go as you are.

I don't think speed at this point would be enough to try it.

i am wondering if I should used Airplane mode before starting the transfer. It should not matter if calls, texts, emails, etc. are coming through at the same time. But, you never know...

Interesting, I never thought of that. I guess I'm not that popular

'the transfer keeps stopping w/o any information message. The Micro SD Card has used only about 34 GB at this point out of 256 GB. Could this be a formatting issue? I bought both the phone and the SD Card at MicroCenter. A salesman there formatted the SD Card after installing it. How can I tell what format was used?

Do Right click in file manager then properties

should say type and file system

When you do this in Windows, and right-click on the SD Card, you only "Generic Hierarchical".

EDIT: I formatted the SD Card again. Device Care>Storage and format. This is what the salesman did. It does not give you any format options. i.e. FAT 32, exFat, etc. I wanted to find out what the format and if it is causing the file transfer to abruptly stop.

Does your card show all 256 available

Does it do the next 32gb when you sync again or is it groundhogs day

After the format is displays a couple of MBs used and all the rest of the 256 GB is available. Keep in mind, I have the SD Card in my phone and trying to copy from PC to the card in my phone. The transfer stops at about the same place after transferring the same amount as before.

@flash13 The graphic you posted. Is it storage in your PC or phone? Because when I check storage  on my phone,, I don't get the details in your image?
