AZwaffelForAWaff
It just became mandatory for remote workers at my company to use Zoom, but the company does not utilize a VPN (at all). Aside from using my own VPN and being a host for those meetings, are there other things I can do to to prevent privacy breaches? Normally I would care about everyone's privacy, but if they want to use Zoom, my privacy comes first...
Dahaka
Yes, use a password for the meeting link, and I heard they introduced a feature for locking the meeting once all people are present. I think you should explore these features. jabrwky
@AZwaffelForAWaff I, also was compelled to use Zoom. I installed Zoom Cloud Meetings for Chrome in portable chrome. Works great.
stealz
end user don't know about encryption and security if they can communicate it is good for them that is the case of zoom and other platforms like Facebook and added companies all they want is money from the end user who uses their platform through ads these are alternetive to zoom https://tox.chat/index.html https://jitsi.org/jitsi-meet/ https://jami.net/ https://about.riot.im/ here you can review others alternatives if they implement signal protocol (E2EE) end to end encryption is better https://alternativeto.net/software/zoom-cloud-meetings/ https://www.privacytools.io/software/real-time-communication/
