In an effort to promote the stay-at-home movement to beat the spread of the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, Bandai Namco Entertainment is going to make PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 free for people to claim for a limited amount of time. Players will be able to download and play the arcade title for free on consoles as well as PCs.

 

Usually priced at $12.99 on all platforms, the PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 free promotion starts today morning at 10:00 am PDT and ends a little over two weeks later, at exactly 10:00 am PDT on May 10, 2020.

 

Speaking about the decision to give away free copies of the PAC-MAN title, the Japanese video game developer and publisher stated:

Those who are interested can claim the freebie through the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 4 platform, the Microsoft Store for Xbox One users, and Steam for PC gamers.
