Chaos17
I have 1 ATI X800 pro AGP.Do u think its worth buying 1 X1900 XT-X (XT-X is the best version right?)Coz i have heard that ATI X1900 is better than Nvidia 7900. But i mean using only 1 graphic card?so would i find a massive diffrence? also now i have an agp so from an ATI X800 agp to an ATI X1900 XT-X?also my graphic card at the moment is a 256mb this will be an 512mbalso if i buy it i will get it from Overclockers.co.uk would it be better if i buy it from the supplier Sapphire? Administrator Lite Posted May 7, 2006 Administrator Share Posted May 7, 2006 If you have an AGP graphics card currently, your motherboard won't support PCI-E.Unless you play games excessively/ do lots of multimedia work, don't bother.
Zeus_Hunt
Right now ATI has the better solution for gaming at maximum detail at ultra-high wide-screen resolutions.
Chaos17
well yeh if i get an ATI X1900 i will get a new motherboard with PCI support. The newest game i have now is LOTR battle for middle earth 2.i buy games ever so often. normally when a good new game comes out.so i guess there is no point in upgrading? from an ATI x800 pro to an ATI X1900 XT-X PCI??
