DVDFab is all-in-one DVD copying/converting/burning software. In just one or two steps, you can copy any DVD to DVDR/PSP/iPod/etc. DVDFab is brand new, is completely rewritten, is based on more than 6 years of DVD copy software development. It allows you to remove all DVD copy protections, like CSS, CPPM, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs, ARccOS, RipGuard, FluxDVD, CORE X2, etc. It is constantly updated to support latest DVD copy protections and has a very fast copying speed, normally it's about 10 - 20 minutes.

Your portable leaves directories and files at the following locations on the machine it is ran on:

%current_user%\Appdata\Roaming\DVDFab11
%local_machine%\Documents\DVDFabCommon

@Portable1

They must stay.

In this directory:
%current_user%\Appdata\Roaming\DVDFab11
The Anti-piracy files and folders are kept, if you delete this directory the Anti-piracy warning is displayed every time you open the program

And in this directory:
%local_machine%\Documents\DVDFabCommon
The files you convert, edit and more are kept. If you delete this directory, when you close the program, you lose all the files you have converted.

 

Please note: Update link programs with suggested fixes.

To have a stealth and fully portable application, settings must be preserved (moved to the program's folder at exit and restored at start).

Now the settings are maintained and restored even at startup the converted files (moved to the program folder on exit and restored at startup).

I have nothing to complain about your release, since it does not leave traces in the windows registry...

but we both know,if it is a real portable, those directories can go under the same directory as the rest of the files,

i think it is more a problem with the nullsoft installer system you use for the portables, cause it is limited on certain cases...

you need scripting (=your own advanced code,you can plant these in there..)

for it to remove the annoyances and run services (if needed..) properly.

If you look closely at a few posts above the changes requested by you and GlacialMan have already been made.
Download the version with the corrections suggested by the updated links and, if necessary, let me know your comments.
Keep in mind that now there is also the new version of the portable which is 11.0.8.1 that you find on the site. Greetings and see you soon.

The practice is to move the files, it is what is done by the launcher of French Can Can. There are safer and faster methods, but the PAF format does not provide them by default.
