Guest NthDegree Posted May 4, 2006 Share Posted May 4, 2006 The best solution for firewalling is to either get a hardware firewall router or to get an old computer and set it up with smoothwall or IPcop.Oh yeah a nice tip for zonealarm: block all ports your software doesn't specifically use using the global expert rules and the application expert rules, as it can help if your software gets infected with unknown viruses.Otherwise I don't see much point in it if you have a router or other hardware firewall.
