It amazes me that no one understood that you were claiming that your system writes files 4-5 times faster than even the best system could do under ideal conditions.
That's nonsense. How can such a thing be said?

Think a little bit about what you are talking about!

Kalju, I have total respect for you and your tech knowledge, but I don't understand why you are so grumpy and critical of my post.

My average backup size is 70GB...the created Macrium image is around 32 GB and the average time taken is between 16-19 minutes.

How do you arrive at your figures that my computer has to be able to "read, write, and process data at 4.75GB per second."

70GB @ 4.75GB per second would make the image in 14.73 seconds...I didn't claim that.

32GB @ 4.75GB per second would make the image in 6.73 seconds...I didn't claim that.

:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Update 21st Feb:- I just made a 76GB backup image...time taken= 16 minutes 51 seconds. (screenshots attached).

You're awfully quiet Kalju.....cat got your tongue???????:dance::dance::dance:

Quote from a wise man:- Think a little bit about what you are talking about!

It`s a good computer, indeed.

Mine takes 6.5 minutes for 21 GB.

Not so fast as yours.

If I had the 76 GB to backup, time would be 23.5 minutes.

The "workaround"  of Master Plexxor still rocks !

Just made the Server Plus boot-CD , with ReDeploy , tested ; works awsome ...............

Dont be afraid for buggy MS-updates anymore , just backup in time !!

Do you have a copy or link to this workaround?😉

hi any one in this forum can provide me x86 macrium reflect for my 32bit system.... thanks

I think your best option is to go back versions until you find a version that works with the medicine.  I haven't used x86 for a very long time, but I do agree that it is useful with older machines.

I'm very disappointed that Kalju still hasn't replied to my post on this page. He was quick to jump in to criticize my original post (which was not directed at him) basically saying that I was

exaggerating or lying and challenged me to tell what capacity my computer has.

Then he followed up with comments like "Think a little bit about what you are talking about!".

I answered his criticism politely and with screenshots to prove my point, but he chooses now to remain silent!!

Really, if I make a mistake I am the first to apologize and to admit my mistake. If I am wrong in this case why doesn't Kalju say so?

Yep, it's a program that will save a lot of heartache for those who get problems on patch Tuesdays. Updated mine to new version and again the create WIM process was fast...strange they never mentioned that little improvement in their change log. Anyway, the program does what it says and it's great to have peace of mind with the backups. I made a 76GB backup of my entire system in 16 minutes...I couldn't be happier.:w00t::w00t::w00t:

You still have to have a tremendously good computer that can read, write, and process data at 4.75GB per second.

76 GB / 16 min = 4.75 GB/min

So it's just a typo of sec for min

medp7060, that's correct...but go back to Kalju's first comment addressed to me. He was saying that I was exaggerating/lying/or just plain stupid by

claiming that my computer had to be something very very powerful to make the image in the time that I quoted, and he challenged me to show what

hardware I had...he even posted a screen shot of a very powerful component that he said wouldn't be able to do what I had claimed.

Then he followed up with another post exclaiming that "It amazes me that no one understood that you were claiming that your system writes files 4-5 times faster than even the best system could do".

Then he adds "

"Think a little bit about what you are talking about!"

Read the posts in the order in which they were posted and you'll understand that he was quick to call me out...but after I answered with proof, he doesn't reply/apologize.

If I am wrong, then I will apologize...and if someone challenges me I will defend my position, as I have done here.

I'm still waiting Kalju!!!😀😀😀

Does the bootable version work with secure boot? 4.x onwards supposedly does. But I assume I have to create my own?

edit: I believe it's because it needs to be FAT32. I was using one as NTFS or EXFAT with a image of 10 and a SDIO driver  install as a AiO type USB for fresh installs so ofc couldn't be FAT32.
