HandyPAF
When I say "always on" I am referring to the programs that must be constantly running in order to properly fulfill their purpose. Seemed like an interesting question so I thought I'd ask. Here are mine: SyMenu - mini start menu / program launcher MicroBin - empty recycle bin with double-click via systray NordVPN - my favorite paid VPN provider Unchecky - helps prevent accidental installation of bundleware StartIsBack++ - start menu replacement for Windows 10 KeyScrambler - encrypts keystrokes to protect from keyloggers USB Safely Remove - for easy and safe ejection of USB devices Vovsoft Prevent Disk Sleep - keeps my external hard drives from spinning down Sharecode Fixer by @DeLtA - decodes the Sharecode links here on Nsane Forums Webroot Internet Security Plus - my first choice for anti-virus / anti-malware I might have missed one or two, I listed what I could think of at the time. None of the above contain malware. And necessary or not depends on the subject. Live and let (each) live is the way to harmony. 🙂

I did not think to add my P2P program, I was leaning more towards programs that are functionally useful. But yes, I have qBittorrent running in the tray
