K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of components needed for audio and video playback in DirectShow players such as Windows Media Player, Media Center, and Media Player Classic. It contains everything you need to play all common audio and video file formats. It also provides additional functionality such a thumbnail generation in Explorer. The pack has a very advanced installer which is highly flexible and has unique problem solving capabilities.

K-Lite Codec Pack 15.3.6 Update Changelog:

• Updated MPC-HC to version 1.9.1.6
• Updated MPC Video Renderer to version 0.4.0.1122

As this version is a minor update over major version, you are required to have at least K-Lite Codec Pack 15.3.2 (Basic/Standard/Full/Mega) to be installed on your system first before installing this minor update.

 

K-Lite Codec Pack 15.3.5 installers:

Basic | Standard | Full | Mega

 

p/s: K-Lite Codec 15.3.5 is the latest major version as of now, though bare minimum of 15.3.2 is required. but both also can be used to upgrade to 15.3.6.
