rushdie Posted December 19, 2019 Share Posted December 19, 2019 Add Open With Notepad Context Menu gives you the option of opening any file type with Microsoft Notepad from the Context Menu by right-clicking on any file and then clicking on Open With Notepad. Anyone who has used Notepad is familiar with the minor hurdles for opening any file that isn't a text file in Notepad. This simple Registry hack allows you to open any file type in Notepad by simply right-clicking on it. There are two files included: Enable Open With Notepad.reg Disable Open With Notepad.reg How to enable or disable the tool: Double-click on Enable or Disable reg file, click Yes on the UAC prompt, and click Yes one more time. Yeah, if you already copied it from the majorgeeks, you could have add an icon and maybe put it in the menu bottom. It's not that important that have to be there in top. Also, there are already two options for the same thing in the same menu by default, what is the point to add the same thing the third time on the same menu. But in this You're right, many people didn't know how such a things to do .....and even now they don't know. So please tommorrow repeat again. PS! As you can see, no help whatsoever. Now people are asking how to put Notepad ++ there. You taught people that 2 apples plus two more apples is a total of 4 apples, but you didn't teach how much will be when you have strawberries or mandarins instead of apples ..... I put it there so that whosoever thinks it useful, might use it; i didn't put it there for somebody who thinks himself smarter than others. That being said, I'm not angered by your outlook either.
