pot.thumb.png.4acc3f17b64f13ad69d30b96d47fc1a4.pngsecurity threat detected with windows defender for the version  1.7.21093

ESET NOD32 detects it already a year and cleans auto when installing, PotPlayer works then totally normal. :coolwink:

If you don't trust the files coming from the dev site, simply don't install them.

As far as I remember the setup_exe file can be extracted to get a portable version, worked fine. If this produces problems too, simply delete the folder.

Potplayer Portable with Ad Removed (the newest version)

https://www.lanzous.com/b112173/

For installed Potplayer, copy and replace PotPlayer64.dll/PotPlayerMini64.exe from the portable

To block TV push, add the following line to host file.

127.0.0.1 live.tvpot.daum.net
127.0.0.1 potplayertv.daum.net

Safer to use this

PORTABLEAPPZ Maker
Download Portable PotPlayer Online (0.8 MB) 24/12/18
Sharecode: /files/9341637/PotPlayer_Portable_32-64-bit_Multilingual_Online.exe.html

H.265/HEVC no more natively decoded and you need to check Open Codec (for your architecture) in online installer (In Preferences/Filter Control/Video Decoder click the browse button in line H.265 then Select FFmpegxx.dll in H.265/HEVC).
Online installer is also setup extractor if found PotPlayerSetup.exePotPlayerSetup64.exeOpenCodecSetup.exeOpenCodecSetup64.exe in its folder.
