Here's the changelog of IDM 6.35 bulid 9, for those interested:

  • Improved download engine
  • Fixed problems with browsers integration
  • Fixed bugs

@Actver's dll patch are still working, combined with @Ali.Dbg .exe patch and blocking all the IP's responsible for IDM to call home, IDM works fine for me.

 

Recommended to patch IDM exe files with @Ali.Dbg and place @Actver's dll file on the installation directory, before clicking on "Finish" to complete the installation, for immediate activation when IDM starts.

Worth pointing out if youve used just the dll option in the last build, you can just update from within the program (Help -> Check For Updates)......like a regular registered user...it works....none of the malarkey others are suggesting.....

If I, I wouldn't update through the in-program updater. Instead, I download the installer again and upgrade it using the installation file.

 

Also, I used the IP block as an additional measure to prevent IDM from calling home and possibly invalidating the license (even though IDM is succesfully patched and dll is placed on the installation folder), therefore the reason why I don't use the in-program updater.

 

So don't tell me that "none of the malarkey others are suggesting". They have the freedom to chose what patches they want.

i'm not sure but based on the contents of the archive, it contains IDMan.exe (possibly patched), 2 reg files (one for 32-bit version and one for 64-bit version) and an install notes (in txt). So there's an assumption that "super clean" refers to properly pre-patched IDMan.exe.

 

So I have no idea on msstdfmt claims that his patch was the cleanest among others, yet I'm doubting his claims as well.

The title is what the creator has given to the crack. It suggests that the crack is easy to apply for those who get sick at the existing patches being labelled by some antimalware programs as infected, ;).

Hmm, a possible reason, since there are reports that after applying certain IDM patches, suddenly anti-malware flagged IDMan.exe as malware.

 

msstdfmt should next time mentioning that "Super Clean Crack" refers to the patched IDMan.exe that will not trigger any anti-malware solution when scanned and run.

Instructions:

1. Exit from IDM.

2. Place the dll file in IDM installation directory default:

x64bit: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager"

x32bit: "C:\Program Files\Internet Download Manager"

3. Start IDM and done, it's activated.

General features:
- Activate idm by just adding a dll file without replacing, patching or modifying anything so the original files stay untouched.

- This activator is universal. Supports retail and trial versions with the hope it will stay fully working on future updates with all its features.

- It's safe for use, the 5mb of size and any detection is false positive because of packing.

 

Normal version features:
- Supports updates so you can update normally from idm as long as the dll file stays and not removed by the update installation process.

- Block home callouts of license checks including hardware identification while allowing update checks+downloading them.

 

NoUpdate version features:
- NoUpdate version blocks all callouts to internetdownloadmanager.com and it's related domains and IP address so you can make sure your privacy is safe. take note that updating from idm is not possible using the noupdate dll version. Also downloading anything like idm setup from their site through idm is not possible.

- dll file stays after updates installation process so there no need to add the dll again after each update.

These features may fully\semi work or may not work in future idm updates.

This is a registered and silent version of all you have to run of course as an administrator leave the rest of the program installs IMKT do this without deleting the previous version

Dude, whether you update by using Help - > Check For Updates, or download the setup from the pgae, the result is the same...so, im not sure what your point is flaming me? Maybe not do that?

First and foremost, I'm aware of IDM "calling home" to check activation status at the same time I attempted to update IDM using the in-app updater. Even with the patches installed and there are effective patches around to circumvent the activation, I'm also aware that IDM will screw up my IDM registration and starting to place the fake serial notification by placing encrypted Visual Protect 3.5+ key which Tonec could have possibly used in order to blacklist the IDM activation, if I don't place the block on telemetry IP's that are responsible for IDM to call home (note that I block the IP's on IDM only, and not system-wide block on all programs).

 

There's an explanation here, if you really need to know what I mean about the Visual Protect key: 

 

That's why I mostly advised to get the installer instead of in-app updater. And mostly I combine the IDM patches so that when one patch solution fails, the others will still work (especially when newer IDM version coming out). This will make IDM to last longer without any problems regarding to activation and fake serial pop-up.

 

Plus, you are mentioning that whether by updating using the installer or through in-app update, the result is the same. I agreed with your statement, except that due to the nature of the crack and the tendency of products "calling home" (especially during update) to check whether it is properly activated, it's better to get the installer file and install over it. Therefore, the advice that I give.

I been using auto updates  for years  but i just use  the trial version  and reset the trial and never register the app . If it ever gets to the point were i cant reset the trial i will just replace it like i have on Linux witch dont  have IDM . Its not something i have to have to download . If your a legit user of the app or just use trial reset the auto update is fine.  But using auto updates with cracks or blocking  with a firewall may get you blacklisted . But just registering the program with  a fake key can cause that if  the crack has checks missing,   or if you block with a firewall and  they added a new ip and you didn't add it to your Firewall yet, If it happens  i hope the tools they have here to unblacklist you still work  for you. A download manger is something I have to have  and if becomes to much hassle i will just use free-ones  like i do  on Linux  JDownloader , UGet  and XDM. Same as when my Antivirus became a hassle on Windows to active i just removed it and replaced with something free.  🤣
