But if you paid for a license for ASC 12.x Pro and still during its valid service, you should be able to upgrade to ASC 13.x without any problems. Update: @sweet_17 has a working crack for ASC 13.x. Please refer to his first post on this topic. At the moment, I have installed ASC 13.x Pro on top of activated ASC 12.x Pro (using giveaway license), but ASC 13.x instead reverts to free version. To use ASC 13.x crack provided by @sweet_17 (since he didn't give specific details on how to use the crack), here's the method to use it. 1. Turn off internet connection. 2. Uninstall ASC 12.x or 13.x (if it's already installed before) - Skip to next step if you want install ASC 13.x for the first time. 3. Install ASC 13.x but do not click on "No Thanks" yet when newsletter subscribe prompt appears after installation. 4. Immediately, browse to ASC's default installation folder: - C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare (32-bit) - C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Advanced SystemCare (64-bit) 5. Copy all 4 cracked files to ASC's default installation folder, make sure overwrite existing files with the cracked files. 6. Click on "No Thanks" and click on "Finish" to conclude the installation. 7. ASC 13.x will now open as Pro version. 8. Block ASC main program executable file, and the update module executable file from connecting to the internet using firewall to avoid possible call back home and invalidate the license. 9. Turn on internet connection back. As long as the firewall rules are there, ASC will never connect to the internet to call back home. This method is already tested on my laptop running Win 10 HSL v1903 x64. Firewall used is Internet Lock 6.0.4. p/s: It seems that if you have previous ASC 12.x licence installed regardless of type of license (especially giveaway ones) and you use cracked files by @sweet_17 to install ASC 13.x, chances that your license information on ASC 12.x will be reflected on ASC 13.x. Supremee Posted October 25, 2019 Share Posted October 25, 2019 Turning off service didn't work for me as some files were still locked.Finally used "LockHunter" to terminate the locking processes & replaced those files with the cracked ones.All Pro features are working fine,"About" software doesn't show "Pro"(not sure if it should),"Subscription"shows "Free"-though.Have blocked "ASC.exe" & "AutoUpdate.exe" using the firewall. Because from there, it seems that there's another possible way to activate ASC 13.x using your "v12 portable version" license, apart from cracked files provided by @sweet_17. I downloaded it from another site and i dont have it anymore, i used wisecare 360, but if you want send me pm and i share the license, maybe it still works. These license keys are the "Giveaways" keys of previous (previous) versions and do not activate the pro version in this version. NB! Giveaway keys are not convertable/updatable for next version. The only thing they do is that: if you use a previously downloaded License.dat file, the entry "Free" will be changed to "Pro", but no pro function will be activated. It means - you have then free version what shows on main UI world "Pro" and on "About" window shows word "Activated". Good luck! PS! forgot to say, there is no reason to hurry up with upgrading, because there are still some problems with deleting registry keys and sometimes system may fully freeze or not delete some registry keys.
