K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of components needed for audio and video playback in DirectShow players such as Windows Media Player, Media Center, and Media Player Classic. It contains everything you need to play all common audio and video file formats. It also provides additional functionality such a thumbnail generation in Explorer. The pack has a very advanced installer which is highly flexible and has unique problem solving capabilities.

K-Lite 15.2.2 Update Changelog:

• Updated MPC-HC to version 1.8.8.8
• Updated LAV Filters to version 0.74.1-28-gb9ad7
• Updated Codec Tweak Tool to version 6.4.4
• MPC-HC now has an option to enable a dark interface. You can enable it here: Menu > View > Dark theme

 

An important word of advice:

As K-Lite 15.2.2 is a minor update over major version K-Lite 15.2.0, you must install K-Lite Codec Pack 15.2.0 (Basic/Standard/Full/Mega) first before installing K-Lite 15.2.2 Update.
