Mp3tag is a powerful and yet easy-to-use tool to edit metadata of common audio formats where it supports ID3v1, ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4, iTunes MP4, WMA, Vorbis Comments and APE Tags. It can rename files based on the tag information, replace characters or words in tags and filenames, import/export tag information, create playlists and more. Mp3tag supports online database lookups from, e.g., Amazon, discogs, or freedb, allowing you to automatically gather proper tags and cover art for your music library.

I've just released Mp3tag v2.99a as a hotfix release for Mp3tag v2.99. I've introduced an issue with the previous version, where a right-click on the cover art window could result in a runtime error.

Thanks everyone who reported this issue!

PLEASE CHANGE THREAD TITLE AND FP TITLE ACCORDINGLY TO REFLECT  Mp3tag v2.99a IS THE STABLE VERSION

@bayer @jvidal I've corrected the topic title.

NB: Members should use the Report post button which will draw Staff's attention to problems sooner rather than later.

I thought "report" was only to report inapropriate or offensive posts, not for things like wrong version or wrong name

About the Report post button...

Basically all it does is ask a member of the staff to look into something. It doesn't have to mean that a poster has done something really bad, it can just be that he/she made a small mistake... The report function is always the fastest way to contact a staff member... Essentially the report function should be used when you believe a post requires the attention of a staff member and/or infringes the forum rules.

This post may explain things further: https://www.nsaneforums.com/topic/77414-how-to-use-the-report-button/
