I haven't experience iTunes playing good quality music. Nevertheless it's 80-100MB in installation exe size. Has bugs, updates every month, download that thing again and again ever month. If you choose to download it by apple updater, it will be half a speed of your actual speed, and if you chose to download a exe then it will give you lot of installation errors, eventually, you will uninstall it and reinstall. About a year or two ago they even had DRM on their music downloaded from iTunes store.
