zanderthunder
The release rotes for the driver are available here. If you have GeForce Experience installed, you can upgrade your Nvidia display driver through the app. If you are downloading the latest driver from Nvidia's site (or Geforce's site), be sure to check your system information first (what operating system did you use, what graphic card you're using (either desktop type or notebook type), either your system is 32-bit or 64-bit, and either your display drive type is Standard or DCH - that can be checked by locating Driver Type under the System Information menu in the NVIDIA Control Panel.) The download links can be found here: Desktop variant: 1. Windows 7 and 8.1 (64-bit) - http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/436.48/436.48-desktop-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql.exe 2. Yeah, it was included on known issues as well on the changelog. [Grand Theft Auto V]: Game may crash randomly after driver update[2703155] Also, the changelog also contains known issues on other games, particularly on Windows 10. You can monitor the feedback thread of the driver at this link: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/320827/official-geforce-43648-game-ready-driver-feedback-/

Not sure yet, but you might need to check on 436.48 driver feedback here on GeForce forums. For some users, rolling back driver does help. But in some cases, it might be bug on the game as well. In fact, a user (Sora) has written his opinion on that driver's feedback forum: Quote It looks like there is the usual small subset of users getting system stability related device loss issues in the latest drivers, but the most common one is due to a edge case/race condition between social clubs cloud save feature and Windows 10 itself. From what i can establish, Rockstar updated social club alongside the casino update to be transparent to the user (in advance of rockstar launcher releasing) so the only way to stay offline is via the command line now, the social club or gtav process is experiencing a Windows 10 specific event that results in certain files becoming either unreadable or unwritable, and may be due to certain windows defender aspects in regards to some types of applications writing directly to My Documents. (this data should be written to %appdata% to be frank) Users who get the 0xc000005 error in the social club logs, but do not see Device Lost in it should submit windows feedback on the feedback hub with the "recreate the problem" button, Maybe Microsoft engineers will see something and get past the horrible rockstar support agents. I guess it's best to discuss the issue on the driver's feedback on GeForce forums, rather than discussing it here. I'm following these threads tho.
