Any working medicine? Patch_v5.2 does not work for this version. trial period expiring pops up.

The v5.2 works fine for me.  Deleting some registry keys fixed things for me.  I only had to do these deletions once a few versions back and ever since I have been updating and running the latest dfox patch and it has all been working fine with no more trial period expiring.

I had posted this in a previous thread:

Deleting some registry keys as per the following post seemed to fix things for me:

Are you sure ProtectionPlusDLL.dll is sucessully patched ?

Run fix with admin and while app is not running

Yes. Confirmed by hash checking.

Update: The suggestion by zajacz  does not work. The Trial period Expiring popup still came back!!!!

Test results:  DFox Patch_v5.2 works up to v26.10.0.72. It is obvious that new protections was added since v26.20.x.

When you ran the DFox patch v5.2, did you also rerun the hosts file patching option?  Check your hosts file and see if you still have the four entries that the Dfox patch puts in there.  I think the Ultraedit setup program erases those entries.  Also, and I'm not sure if it matters or not, but I also change those four entries which have the local host IP address (127.0.0.1) to something else such as 0.0.0.0.  I could have sworn that quite a while ago (maybe last year or even longer) that the Ultraedit program looked at or detected the 127.0.0.1 entries and knew that the hosts file had been modified for pirating Ultraedit and gave a popup that said so.  Changing it away from 127.0.0.1 fixed that problem for me back then.

I have not have had any popups with v26.20.0.6.  The only time I had a popup with maybe this version or the previous is when I discovered that the host file entries were missing.  Once I put the entries back, no more popups.

You may have to use it for a couple of hours for the popup to appear. However, with DFox patch v5.2 + (up to) v26.10.0.72, you will stay as long as you like without the annoying popups.

Ok, I didn't know or try that.  I have never and probably won't use it for a couple of hours straight like you have.

You are correct though.  I left Ultraedit 26.20.0.6 just running in the background for a bit (maybe 15-20 minutes at most) and then looked back at it and there was the trial expired message.

Make sure UltraEdit is not running.

Remove (all) old version(s) of UltraEdit, and clean all UltraEdit leftovers in host file.

Make sure there are NO leftovers on your HD like:
C:\ProgramData\IDMComp\UltraEdit\license\uedit32_v.spl

Clean all UltraEdit leftovers from registry here:
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{9b4c79e8-d476-48e1-ad17-2253d0531ebb}
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{bf2611c5-cf99-4e19-be15-83e593688709}
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{c0bf323d-faa8-4b16-bdc9-92c6acb76dc1}

Download latest version:
https://downloads.ultraedit.com/main/ue/win/ue_english_64.exe

Install latest version (do not start).

Use patch (do NOT click on patch host, keep it unticked), run fix with Admin:
Site: https://anonfile.com
Sharecode: /Mdv9Jd83n1/IDM_Universal_Patch_v5.4_By_DFoX_rar

Add to host file:
0.0.0.0 licensing.ultraedit.com
0.0.0.0 licensing1.ultraedit.com
0.0.0.0 licensing2.ultraedit.com
0.0.0.0 66.150.98.71

Done!

Has anyone tried this new 5.5 patch yet? After seeing all the issues I'm scared to upgrade. I'm currently using v26.00 portable version and don't want to risk messing it up.

Could you share the original link to your portable version ?
