Bizarre™
TrueCrypt is a software system for establishing and maintaining an on-the-fly-encrypted volume (data storage device). On-the-fly encryption means that data are automatically encrypted or decrypted right before they are loaded or saved, without any user intervention. No data stored on an encrypted volume can be read (decrypted) without using the correct password/keyfile(s) or correct encryption keys. Entire file system is encrypted (e.g.., file names, folder names, contents of every file, free space, meta data, etc).Download

RadioActive
Thanks for the update.I like TC but anybody know of a more user friendly alternative? because TC can be a pain sometimes.
HX1
I switched to this from PGP Desktop.. because I got tired of looking for the updates all over the place.. and trying to keep it validated.. not o mention the keyservers where a pain..but when it was working it was great.. shredder, virtual drives, compressed files.. all of it was easy to operate..and good at what it did.. I would probably still have it installed and be using it if I had the most recent version.. and also had a way to keep it up to date easily.. It is advisable to find three notaries, get a laid certificate, and all of the pre-requisites which go with the whole package of encryption and ID... though. *dcs18
Thanks for the update.I like TC but anybody know of a more user friendly alternative? because TC can be a pain sometimes.Steganos is quite user friendly, TrueCrypt & PGP seem to be more popular though. Just my 2 cents (stopped using data encryption tools sometime back.) :)
