Acronis True Image 2020 Build 20770

To download the ISO file Full version  you must use the link

http://dl.acronis.com/s/AcronisTrueImage2020.iso

without _20770 at the end of the link

The link in this form takes the Trial version (below)

http://dl2.acronis.com/s/AcronisTrueImage2020_20770.iso

what Acronis does or does not do. and your checksum mean nothing to me

. . . . likewise — right back at you!

you and i have different versions.

so to me it doess seem senseless - (i have a ford and you have a chevy) I get 43mpg and you get 18mpg.

Isn't that exactly what we're trying to tell you.

so there is no need for more discussion.  Thank you, Snuffy

As you wish — thank you, too.

BTW, if you manage to figure-out from where you downloaded your . . . . so-called WinPE — please do feel free to post a link (if not for me — at least for the sake of others.) zDLbIxl.gif

I checked this relationship in the previous version, and it worked then

Just tested the ISO from that link gives the full version but for build 20600 not 20770!

Where did you download from ?

after download s/AcronisTrueImage2020_20770.iso i got same hash as dcs18

it's indeed hard to distinguish something in this thread patchwork!

You are talking about the Linux based bootable iso provided by Acronis while the other member is talking about the WinPE version.

There is no need to check anything else inside the iso's to know which kernel it is using.

it's sufficient to open it and take a brief look at its structure. it's visible at first glance!

Linux based boot cd's have a completely different structure and even use its own bootloader to boot up.

This is almost useless anyways since it has limitations and low hardware detection ratio inherent to the Linux kernel os.

Most users wont use the 656 MB Linux based boot cd, especially those who come across different computers!

was just playin with all this stuff, not a project or a work in progress.

WinPE Single Boot ATI+ADD+UR = 654 MB (Legacy BIOS/UEFI)

WinPE MultiBoot ATI+ADD+Backup Advanced/Universal Restore = 1.23 GB (Legacy BIOS/UEFI)

Integrated into WinPE all the 3 programs makes less than 140 MB (Legacy BIOS/UEFI)

Not to mention the changelog which is self explanatory :

Known issues and limitations of this version

Please note that the new technology for disk-level backup is introduced in Acronis True Image and is being improved, so it may currently have the following limitations:

  • TI-169821 Backup conversion to VHD format is not present for the new backup format.
  • TI-171553 Moving the backup through the Acronis True Image console is not present for the new backup format.
  • TI-169548 Renaming local backups is not possible for the new backup format.
  • TI-172340 Backup mounting option is not present for the new backup format.
  • TI-168095 Cloud Entire PC backups are empty if browsed from mobile applications.
  • TI-172086 Differential backup is created instead of a full backup after the second launch of a local disk backup with "Version chain" scheme.
  • TI-168969 Acronis Universal Restore cannot detect external USB drives.

There are many misleading info here

someone said all linux iso are full

someone else said the u/AcronisTrueImage2020_20770.iso  is trial and s/AcronisTrueImage2020_20770.iso  is full

another said AcronisTrueImage2020.iso  is the full...

other are talking about different iso md5

now jordan is talking about winPE versus linus iso

so ... if Jordan shared his iso everybody will be happy

http://dl.acronis.com/u/AcronisTrueImage2020_20770.iso < This is version 20770 Unregistered Trial

I find it hard to trust my ( precious !) backups and restorations of a trial..........!

Does not give me a "safe" feeling ................so, will stay with previous 2019-version .

For example:

Quote

You need to extract the kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat files from the image.bin file. I use UltraISO for this, though I'm sure there are other programs that'll do it too

Not all the tools do it and the result is Trial version ...

This is the right way:

Wanted to test this ISO — however, it's no longer available (always a good idea to upload such files to https://www.mirrored.to/ instead.)

No I boot the ISO directly on a VM, and if I remember correctly I also compare the file hash with those downloaded directly from Acronis website that we know are Trial.

i appreciate all the effort you guys have put in for us, trying to give the latest version, but all the versions i have downloaded say trial. so, after all the posts etc, is there actually a link to a fully registered, non-trial version of this latest ATI?

It seems that only @kabino is the only one  owner of the full version in the whole world :)

You have three releases by @kabino which are ok, not trial (WinPE, Linux BootCd, and Acronis All in one boot cd), all build 20770.

If official download link don't work properly, if you wish ask @kabino for download link, and give him thanks.
