jalaffa
PeerBlock lets you control who your computer "talks to" on the Internet. By selecting appropriate lists of "known bad" computers, you can block communication with advertising or spyware oriented servers, computers monitoring your p2p activities, computers which have been "hacked", even entire countries! They can't get in to your computer, and your computer won't try to send them anything either. PeerBlock currently supports Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, and 7 in 32-bit and 64-bit.Thanks to heath28m for the update.Download

RadioActive
What I really hate about PeerBlock is there's no silent updates, you can't hide that damn update window. I won't use it anymore till they implement that option because it's too annoying.

HX1
I was wondering is the Release version as consumptive of Computer Resources and as slow as the Beta? Really have been considering going back to Peer Guardian lately because of it... It never took that long to start up.. or to update and reload.. Getting really annoying waiting on it after startup.. HX1
I am bumping this thread up for a question.. The past several days I have noticed that PeerBlock repeatedly crashes.... I am about two minutes from permanently removing the software and replacing it with PeerGuardian.. Is anyone else having this issue?
Administrator DKT27 Posted January 8, 2010 Administrator Share Posted January 8, 2010 What version? Beta?Well I've stopped usin any type of blocker. I feel it's overkill at least on my current computer. I'm only using IPFilter for now.
