info999
Can you recommend a firewall that blocks all internet access by default except certain applications eg. Chrome & AnyDesk ?
steven36
you can use Firewall App Blocker https://www.sordum.org/8125/firewall-app-blocker-fab-v1-6/ Just set it too WhiteList Mode Firewall App Blocker WhiteList Mode: It will block everything except on the white listed items, to activate it tick the “Enable WhiteList” box on the right bottom corner. The whitelist mode denies access to all network interfaces, After enabling WhiteList Mode Drag and drop an Application/Applications on the “Firewall Application Blocker” interface to Allow it/them , It was the most wanted feature:

Chrome & AnyDesk ? no I can not, such a thing does not exist. I would recommend TinyWall to you, it blocks everything unless whitelisted. Programs can be easily whitelisted by TinyWall. Only programs you have selected (eg. Chrome & AnyDesk) will be allowed internet access. You can read more about Tinywall here : https://tinywall.pados.hu/ or here: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/beta-testing-tinywall.309739/ go to end of thread look for new version 3 to be released soon hopefully or can try beta version, I still use old version until and waiting for proper release v3. dcs18
Almost every firewall (including the one that ships with Windows) can be configured for the "block all except selected" implementation. The most effective non-WFP based firewall:— COMODO Firewall The most full-featured WFP based firewall:— Windows 10 Firewall Control (W10FC)
Ecarion
From my point of view, it's strange because nobody has mentionned : Windows Firewall Control (at the origin it was created by Binisoft) !
