Nemesis
I use thunderbird because it has the smart filter, it functions like Outlook, and it has a cleaner interface than outlook.

Wheelie4
Is Mozilla Thunderbird better than MSOutlook? I've been using MSOutlook for several years but In the next few months I plan on getting a new PC. If I can find another client as good or better than MSOutlook I won't have to pay extra to get MSOffice just for Outlook.I'm just afraid If Mozilla Thunderbird is too buggy and causes me problems there's no simple solution to transfer my mail/contacts back to Outlook oe even Express. pHant0m
I have 7 Gmail accounts. One of which is configured in Thunderbird as one of my public email addresses. I have one Hushmail account, two yahoo accounts, one AOHELL (aol) account, and a very long time ago a hotmail account. I may also have a Windows Live mail account, but I don't trust it, and haven't used it at all.EDIT: When in Fedora, I use Evolution for my email client instead of Thunderbird. It's the default on FC6, and it's not bad.
Wheelie4
Well I've used MS Outlook for a few years for my POP3 account and have Gmail as an alternate. Well, I switch from Outlook to Thunderbird earlier this week. Not bad kinda like it a little better than Outlook.
Sl@pSh0ck™
I'm using MS OUTLOOK as email client for both my gmails and yahoo mails. Have'nt tried thunderbird yet.
HX1
Well I have tried using Thunderbird and several other in the past.. Mozilla wasn't that bad..however I use Outlook 2007 .. but only when I need to..MirandaIM to check my mail.. using the YAMN 2 n 1 addon.. just so much faster.. and up to the minute.. less consumptive of resources..and I also use Windows Live Mail...and the online aplications provided by my e-mail providers( so my browser..which I might add can be integrated to become a client )...This can all depend on what OS I am on at the time.. where..what I am doing..To be precise.. If I need to send encrypted/signed e-mail..or would like to keep a copy.. I use Outlook.. Otherwise to check my mail I use MirandaIM. I use my Browser to do final through cleaning/junk/deleted..when needed.. I don't keep anything un-necessarily on my system..
