coucou
Hello, I'm usualy using Win7 installed on a SSD (win7) and and a HDD for data. I start installing Win 10 on a new SSD (disconnect SSD win7 and connect instead). Win10 installed it works but I do not feel it. I do not have permissions like Administrator, I had to change my username, I'm denied to add tweaks or addons... In short, it's a bad experience. I'm looking for a self process and efficient unattended Win 10 installation tool. Regards
Kalju
To be honest, do not understand what you did, what you want to do, or what changing of username you are talking about. Of course you can install W7 and W10, no matter if you own the same SSD/HDD disk or will install on separate disks. And of course you need to give another user/other computer, etc. permission to use your files, ie You must give/change/modify permissions as needed. It is always so. If possible, try to explain a bit more or better, what You want to do. At least I don't see there any problems. PS: I'm looking for a self process and efficient unattended Win 10 installation tool. - What it should mean? Unattended Win 10 Tool - I think, if possible, heading need to fix. Local Machine and Users configuration ? Regards
Paft
You could just add a 'autounattend.xml' file to a clean Windows 10 USB: UEFI: https://windowsafg.com/win10x86_x64_uefi.html or Legacy/MBR BIOS: https://windowsafg.com/win10x86_x64.html The default settings seem fine. Just add a user name and pick language. This will automate everything. Including deleting partitions on the main drive. Just to be safe I would remove the data drive before running the install. And to quickly install common programs, try: https://ninite.com/ https://just-install.github.io/customizer.html
