Hello, I would like to ask here, taking advantage that in this forum there are many with advanced knowledge in systems, which is the safest operating system today and why. Best regards.

The one unknown to hackers is the safest. Because every software/OS has holes in it whether known or unknown.

I would choose Linux based OS for sure.

Something like Tails OS if you're lazy.

Or custom build your OS from scratch (not literally), take a host linux OS, download the latest linux kernel and build your own OS from there in the chroot environment, compile everything and use that.

Except the OS, I guess it is very important which web browser you use, and which firewall. In most of the browsers by default all tracking/spying options are turned on, so you need manually to disable many things.
