uffbros
Can someone lead me to a wireless device that would allow me to hear my TV thru wireless earphones? My TV is LCD but is not a Bluetooth TV. I have a soundbar but it is too loud for the other family members watching at the same time as me. The TV does have a USB port and an HDMI port. I want to be able to hear the TV while they can hear with the soundbar at the same time. Is there such a device to do what I am describing? Maybe some Amazon links to products to do this? Thanks. I use for my computer SCOTT WLX 100HS wireless headphones. It has inlets for RCA connection from my amplifier so you can connect it to your TV. I never tested it for my TV. I guess the model is not available any more because I got it more than 10 years ago but there must be some similar device. It is not USB nor bluetooth. Might give you a clue to look for. uffbros
I got the below-listed headphones to do what I wanted but ran into a problem. Since I have a soundbar connected to My TV it was using the optical connection so I couldn't hook up my headphones transmitter now. Also, it included RCA cords and an Aux cord that it says you can use but neither worked. I went to a local audio store and asked the Pro's if this can be done and they said no..It's one or the other. Wrong answer because my daughter's BF said to get a splitter and you are good to go. It worked. Here is the headphones and splitter I bought.
