mehdibleu
Hello everyone, i come here to share with you a very useful script, it's for creating SVF files from source and target files automatically without using the whole procedure to create SVF files with SmartVersion tool which is described here The script is meant to create SVF files very easily and much quicker than you used to do by the past. I would like to clarify some things to avoid facing issues while using the script as was the case when i used it in the first try, i could contact @GezoeSloog who clarified some things for me. How to use the script : So first you have to get the last SmartVersion tool installed on your machine (SmartVersion v3.70) ,otherwise it won't work, the script won't be able to create the svf file correctly. It seems that the compression method implemented in the script is compatible with only v.3.70. Spoiler then will have to put both source file and target file next to the batch file then drag and drop the source file into the batch file then you will see a command prompt to open showing the creation of svf file as you can see below : Spoiler you will see a folder called ENG2XX-SVF appear which will contain the svf file created : Spoiler Once the SVF file has been created, you will be able to use it later or share it with someone else to get the target iso created in few seconds by using Svf Extractor v2.1.11 instead of downloading the target iso, if you use a lower version that won’t work because SvfX v2.1.11 is the one that is compatible with V3.70 of Smv so if you use another version, you will receive an error message while trying to extract saying that file mismatch. You can also use that SVF file and convert it to exe patch which can be practical as people won’t need any tool to be able to get the target iso created, all you will have to do is to run the patch and get your needed iso created in few seconds. To do that, you will need to use SVFtoSFXv2 tool but you will have to replace smv.exe from the tool by the one of SmartVersion tool otherwise the iso target won’t be created and the reason for that is because SVFtoSFXv2 tool which is available here uses V3.60 of SMV and because you get the SVF file created with V3.70 of SMV, you have to do the same with SVFtoSFXv2. How to use SVFtoSFXv2 : Spoiler So extract SVFtoSFXv2 content either with 7-Zip or WinRar to be able to replace smv.exe then all you have to do is to place the source file and the created SVF next to all extracted files and you run SVFtoSFX.cmd to generate the exe patch. Spoiler That’s all, i hope I have made myself clear in my explanation, I really tried to be as clear as possible to help people using the script correctly. DR_ADHAM
I'm using version 3.00 and I'm using a different script where I don't have to drag or drop any files and the patch I'm creating will be extracted automatically without replacing any tools or downloading any tools. What I'm saying it's more easier than this !! Creating SVF patches is so simple, it's the easiest part in the whole process. The hard part is what a guy like GezoeSloog is doing. Do you know what it needs to create such a repository like his one. He's downloading all ISOs (x64 & x86) in 38 different languages for both consumer & business images (Total = 152 ISOs), then using the en-us consumer ISO to create SVF patches for all others then uploading those patches + the 2 source ISOs (x64 & x86 consumer images).
