But there is a detail, not clear at all. 737 MAX was introduced in 2011. And looks, nothing happened in 7 years! So, what's the explanation? Any reference? dMog Posted April 16, 2019 Share Posted April 16, 2019 the root cause and biggest reason, Boeing was allowed to SELF REGULATE safety, they took huge cost-cutting measures at the expense of safety because they could. muu Posted April 29, 2019 Share Posted April 29, 2019 I heard Boeing had an upgrade software package that would show the faulty sensor reading so pilots would understand what is going wrong.
