Katzenfreund
A major problem with folders in Windows Explorer is that they all look the same and you have to search for the one you want. Life would become a lot easier if we could add different colors to the folders, e.g.: green (like money) to financial folders, red (urgent maybe?) for tasks, white for text etc. But Windows 10 doesn't have any options for customizing folder colors. Folder Painter is a freeware that lets you color folders, as well as add appropriate icons, from an ample selection for each. Furthermore, it is light (the program itself is less than 1 MB) and portable, needs no installation, and most of all, it doesn't affect system performance in any way. It works on Windows 7 and above. https://www.sordum.org/10124/folder-painter-v1-2/
