csmdew
In the task scheduler this function shows up but I do not know why it would be running, any way to find out what the kms is associated with since both my ofc 16 and win 10 ltsb are both mak keys. Thanks
The AchieVer
KMSAuto Net is a powerful tool that allows you to activate Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows automatically after your key expires. It requires the Microsoft ToolKit for it to work properly. KMSAuto Net. The service takes care of activating your windows for you and could save you a lot of time and hassle if you have issues with the online activator and Windows Genuine Advantage. KMSAuto Net is an activation crack. If you are concerned that you may be running software that is not legitimate or that you have bought a device that had pirate software installed, then you should run a virus scan of your computer. Most antivirus software will flag up keygens, cracks, and activators as being malicious software so you will be alerted to whether or not there is an issue. csmdew
I believe I may have installed it for ofc but couldn't get it to work so uninstalled ofc about 2 yrs ago and then put the ssd on the shelf. When my other ssd died, I re-installed this drive to pc and put ofc on it 2 days ago with a mak key. So how do I remove it when I can't locate it on the pc. Thanks. Further update, I did find it using a pc search and it was as thought put on 9/118/16 when I was setting up this drive with ofc. When I clicked on the kmsauto it brought up a cmd box with info saying it was running; so once again how do I remove it or just let it run. I do have the program itself on another hd in the rig (F drive).
Archanus
Dear bro I really recommend you that instead of that activator, to use the Microsoft Activation Script (by @WindowsAddict ) It's a very useful, clean and wonderful tool to activate your Windows and Office
straycat19
Open up task manager, find the process, and kill it. Then locate the file on the hard drive and delete it. Finally open regedit and search the registy for any mention of it and delete it. That should take care of it.

I did all the above and found nothing in reg and task manager but it shows up in 😄program data folder; would that mean it is or is not installed. Showed up in task manager yesterday but not today, really baffling. Any more ideas as to what to do with it, thanks.

Thanks This means that you used the KMSAuto Net Activator at a certain stage on your machine. If you installed the tool on your machine (used the full installer not the portable one), make sure to uninstall it from Control Panel\Programs and Features. From "Run", type [%windir%\system32\taskschd.msc /s] to go to your Task Scheduler Rt-click the AutoNet service and from the drop-down menu, select "Delete". Open your Command Prompt (cmd) as admin, enter the following commands at once and hit "Enter" slmgr /skms localhost slmgr.vbs /ckms slmgr /upk slmgr.vbs /cpky slmgr /rilc sfc /scannow The final command (scan process) takes sometime ---> It's recommended to complete it then reboot your system after the process is finished. After reboot, you'll get your Windows back to the activation trial period and you'll have to reactivate. PS: If your Windows is previously activated with a digital license, then you can reactivate with the same key or even any generic key for your Windows edition, the same will apply for Office; it'll be reactivated with the same key. csmdew
Is this a single cmd or ea line a cmd. I know that I use sfc frequently so I'm familiar with that one, thanks.
DR_ADHAM
You can enter every command separately and hit "Enter" after, or enter all at once and hit "Enter" and each command will do its job separately in both cases.
csmdew
Second one did not run, said not recognized as cmd. Apparently this is how I activated it in 2016 since now it is not activated any more. Thought I had used it with ofc 16 not the os.

Note that: After upgrade, you'll need to reactivate LTSC 2019 (Don't worry, its keys are also available).
