<img src="/images/logos/uTor.png" class="logo" alt="µTorrent" title="µTorrent" />µTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. With µTorrent, you can download files faster and contribute by sharing files and bandwidth. Additionally, µTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange.

Thanks for the update. My favorite P2P client.

OMG, I just saw I'm suddenly "member of the week." :s :D How and why did that happen (not that I mind or anything)?

Thanks for the update. I love this program. My µTorrent 1.8.4 says 'There is no new version available at this time.' As usual, jalaffa knows.

@Night Owl: I'm not usin the stable one but it does take time for notifying you by uTorrent. And as you know Jalaffa is far more faster than uTorrent. :D

2.0 Beta. I cannot risk alpha. And Beta does the job perfectly, includin the support for fast, lite, and great udp trackers. :) .

Example -

udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce

You know, UDP trackers gets updated and starts workin in seconds and HTTP takes 5mins for me.

I would like to use the 2.0 beta but some of the private sites I use claim to ban the use of beta clients.

I don't think that any of the private sites would ban "uTorrent's" Beta.

Well the only thing I don't like here, from last few versions it's not respecting the speed restrictions properly. I mean if I set a torrent to upload at 5KB/ps, but the upload rate of the specific torrent reaches and keeps reachin at 10KB/PS that is very annoyin if you ask me. It's just an example.

Otherwise Beta is great. :dance2:

I've noticed in general that utorrent is kind of liberal in how it interprets those speed limitations. But overall, it is by far the best bittorrent client I've used and I love the way they are aggressively pushing forward to improve it.

Stupid Utorrent shows "no new version"

But, what do you guys say.. Wait for the 2.0? or install this one?

Install 2.0 Beta.

And as I mentioned uTorrent is not as fast as Jalaffa.

I installed the 2.0 beta and it seems to be running fine. It picked up right where the 1.85 version left off (I was in the middle of seeding and DLing 5 torrents). Seems to be running better to me, so far.

Lemme test 2.0 beta then :)

Getting some strange stability problems with me I-connection.. guessing it's due to Utorrent being online.. (altho it doesn't seed or download .. -.- )
