SacredCultivator
Dear Readers, My Cable has been down for a good week and now has recently been back up only problems are, and I have not called them about this because I am not sure if they can do much about it since it is mainly Router Related.... but anyway... My Modem is a Ambit U10C018 (http://www.ambitbroadband.com/broadband/U10C018.php) and my Provider = ChampionBroadband Problems:-Is the 'enet(Ethernet)' light supposed to flash?(I forgot if it did when it was working properly) I mean I knkow my Ethernet Cable is good because i just bought it, but I think flashing is bad in my opinion because it might have somethign to do with not allowing the connection to be optimal. (And I think it might affect my Maximum DL Speed(4MB)-I have a Linksys RT41-BU Router but when I connect it witht he Modem I can not get a Connection going through. (And I can if I have the MAC Address Clone thingy enabled... but that ruins my Speeds down to like dial-up rate... And I know in the past when it worked with my router I did not have Mac Address Enabled...Those are the main problems at the moment... So if you happen to have any speculations it would greatly be appreciated thanks.

nsane
Control Panel > Network Connections > _cable_ > Properties > Install > Protocol > Microsoft TCP/IP version 6and yes, do it even if you have TCP/IP installed already (has to be). but it's a bug with windows and the driver...will need re-installing from time to time (very rare) :(fixes a similar prob i have with my modem atleast, not sure if it'll help you tho :P
SacredCultivator
I suppose I shall try that event hough I am not sure what that does...EDIT: Otay... I got it to work with the Router... But not it seems that my Speeds are inconsistent... By means that my 4MB doesn't even go at half its rate... And the connection is dropped from time to time.
